Family seeks help locating at-risk Marina man traveling with unknown woman

MARINA — Concerned family members are searching for a mentally challenged man who suffers from memory loss and has gone missing. He is believed to be traveling to Watsonville with a woman named “Missy.”

Flavio Perez, 38, was last seen Friday as he left for work in Marina, but he never returned home. His mother called his cellphone at 6 p.m. and he said he was traveling to Watsonville with a woman named “Missy,” who is not known to Perez’s family.

Perez is believed to have traveled through the city of Los Banos and was believed to be in the area of Merced around 7:34 p.m. Neither of these cities would indicate Perez is still traveling to Watsonville and family members are concerned as Perez is not familiar with areas outside of Monterey County.

Perez was last seen wearing an orange shirt, tan pants and brown boots and was driving a silver 2000 Chevrolet Silverado truck with California license plate number 6G54948.

Anyone with information on Perez’s whereabouts should call 911 or Officer A. Magaña with the Marina Police Department at 831-384-7575.
